All women’s rock band from Maningrida West Arnhem Land One night
only, a special performance by the West Arnhem Land rockers Ripple
Effect Band. All the way from the top end of Australia, these women
are guaranteed to pull audiences in with their stories, songs in
language and exciting saltwater reggae rock. Last year their album
Mayawa was featured as album of the week on Triple R and PBS and the
band will be playing these songs, as well as introducing new material
for their next album. After packed shows in Victoria last year,
Melbourne audiences already know this is a show not to miss, it will
get you dancing and fill your hearts with the sounds and songs of
remote Indigenous Northern Territory. Supported by Ajak Kwai VENUE
