FR-Dans le cadre de l’exposition Call me gravity, l’artiste Georgia Sagri présente sa nouvelle performance intitulée Child: Ten Meditations on Property. Aux côtés des quatre œuvres exposées de Sagri, la performance aborde les thèmes de la respiration, de la pression, de la maternité, de la guérison et de la transformation. Présentée alors que l'artiste est à son sixième mois de grossesse, Child: Ten Meditations on Property propose une réflexion sur l'accouchement, le corps maternel et la maternité, à la fois comme condition intime et comme construction sociale. Naast de vier tentoongestelde kunstwerken van Sagri ontvouwt de performance zich aan de hand van vragen over ademhaling, druk, moederschap, herstel en transformatie. Child: Ten Meditations on Property, uitgevoerd tijdens de zesde maand van de zwangerschap van de kunstenaar, reflecteert op de bevalling, het moederlijke lichaam en het moederschap als zowel een intieme toestand als een sociaal construct. EN- Within the framework of the exhibition Call me gravity, artist Georgia Sagri presents her new performance work Child: Ten Meditations on Property. Alongside Sagri’s four exhibited artworks, the performance unfolds through questions of breath, pressure, maternity, recovery, and transformation. Performed during the artist’s sixth month of pregnancy, Child: Ten Meditations on Property reflects on labour, the maternal body, and motherhood as both an intimate condition and a social construct.
