We invite everyone interested in learning about and practicing
Tibetan Buddhism to join our public meditation every Tuesday at
7:30pm.
The evening start with a practitioner who gives a short 10-minute talk
on Buddhism. Its a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and there is always
the opportunity to ask questions to clarify what was talked about.
After the talk, we will meditate together for about 20 minutes. We do
the same guided meditation on the 16th Karmapa that is done in Diamond
Way centers worldwide. This profound meditation is easy to learn and
practice, and has a cumulative effect on the mind, leading to greater
clarity, calmness and joyfulness. The meditation is guided, so you
just need to follow along.
No prior knowledge of Buddhism or meditation experience is necessary.
Everyone is welcome.
We have meditation cushions available. Feel free to bring your own
cushion if you have one.
Public meditations are free. Donations will help to preserve Diamond
Way teachings & meditations and keep them accessible to the public.
Suggested Donation $10 (children free)
