NEURO FOR NON-NEURO NURSES: * I think my patient might be having a
stroke - who do I call? * What do I do with an Aspen collar? *
What's the best way to perform and document a neuro assessment quickly
and thoroughly? * My patient had a seizure - now what? Nurses from
the acute neuro units at Foothills Medical Center want to help you get
to the bottom of these neuro questions!
This day is an intimate and informative educational opportunity for
nurses who work in non-neuro areas but may encounter neuro patients in
their practice. Sessions will be facilitated by expert neuro nurses,
practicing in acute neuro at FMC. The focus will be on adult care, but
pediatric nurses may find benefit in the content as well, and are
welcome to register.
-------------------------
Your registration includes coffee and refreshments in the AM. Please
bring a water bottle as FMC no longer provides cups at the water
dispensers.
The agenda for the day will be posted when it is finalized. Start and
end times are subject to change.
