A combination of tone poem and violin concerto, 'Jacob's Dream' flows through three movements of Middle-Eastern tinged melodies and harmonies. The orchestra's performance led by Music Director Nurhan Arman will feature super-star violinist Haik Kazazyan, a Gold Medallist in the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition. For the second half of the concert the orchestra will play an orchestral version of Franz Schubert's famous 'Death and the Maiden' string quartet. Its four movements form one of the most beautiful and emotional compositions of the entire Classical era. Accessible tickets and phone/email help: 1-800-708-6754 | boxoffice@tolive.com.
