Pianist Sunny Ritter has been playing with European orchestras and winning competitions in the two years since she stunned Sinfonia Toronto's audience with a world-class concerto performance at age 13. Her playing was so wonderful that Maestro Arman immediately promised to bring her back and asked what she would like to play next time... She knew right away, Beethoven! We will hear her in Beethoven's magnificent Third Piano Concerto. The concert also includes Shostakovich's remarkable Chamber Symphony Opus 73a, with five passionate movements capturing the vast range of emotions evoked by the struggles and victories of war.
