Suzart Productions Presents: Urinetown, the Musical

Winner of three Tony Awards and multiple other honors,
Urinetown
is a sharp, hilarious musical satire that skewers capitalism, bureaucracy, social irresponsibility, and even musical theatre itself.

In a Gotham-like city, a 20-year drought has led to a government ban on private toilets, forcing citizens to use public facilities controlled by a greedy corporation. When one hero decides he has had enough, he sparks a revolution to reclaim basic human freedom.

Inspired by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill,
Urinetown
combines biting social commentary with laugh-out-loud humor. Praised for redefining what a musical can be, it delivers wickedly modern wit, outrageous twists, and moments of surprising heart, making audiences rethink the world and the theatre around them.
