ABOUT THIS EVENT
Our afternoon kicks off with a campfire where local chef, Emma Hachey,
will show us (and feed us!) her favourite meal to cook over an open
fire. After the campfire we’ll head indoors to warm up and share
more wilderness cooking secrets.
WHO CAN ATTEND: Teens 15 to 18 who are interested in leveling-up their
camping skills.
WHAT TO BRING: We will be outside for the better part of an hour,
please dress for the weather.
COST: This event is FREE. If you are planning on attending PLEASE
REGISTER, so we can make sure there is enough food to go around. Text
"Register" to Irene @ 902-314-3556
ACCESSIBILITY: Most of our time will be spent inside the PEI Farm
Centre, which is wheelchair accessible. Part of our afternoon will be
spent around a campfire located in the field behind the building.
There is a roughly groomed path from the parking lot to the campfire.
Please feel free to reach out to us if you have additional
accessibility needs – we want to welcome you at this event!
