Restaurant Madre on Masson street, a Latin bistro named in the 100 best restaurants in Canada by Vacay in 2014....From talented chef Mario Navarrete jr. He has been a member of the Montreal gastronomic scene since the 1990s following his studies in establishment cuisine and pastry. His first restaurant RAZA received 28 points out of 30 of the American guide Zagat. En Route magazine, in its special edition on gastronomy, also named it the fourth best new restaurant in Canada. But enough about him.....Madre Restaurant is an establishment of Nuevo Latino cuisine. This is a way of saying that it is Latin American-inspired cooking (Peruvian in this case), same originals recipe, same ingredients ( in most cases ) but rethinked.....i guess you could say fancy....upscale. this is a BYOW so a good way to end the week...... and start the weekend!!!
