They are active educators, choreographers and performers, touring nationally with their own work and dancing with Kidd Pivot._ _Modus Operandi is a Vancouver based program that provides pivotal post-secondary Contemporary Dance education within a 4-year curriculum._ _The MO student body is a determined group of rebellious thinkers and movers dedicated to pursuing diverse professional careers in contemporary dance._ _Led by David Raymond, Tiffany Tregarthen + Kate Franklin, MO faculty and guests are an inspirational force of active directors, creators and performers who nurture individual perspectives and demonstrate an international professional standard through relevant dance practices._ _The curriculum offers extensive mentorship, career navigation, performance experience, professional practicum, choreographic exploration, dance on screen as well as diverse classes in contemporary, classical, hip hop, improvisation and dance making techniques._ _The audition is comprised of a class with the Artistic Directors including contemporary and improvisation. From both an audition and the written application, dancers are chosen based on suitability for an advanced contemporary dance program including their approach to learning and their commitment to a full training season._ _We strongly encourage dancers interested in auditioning to attend one or both of the intensives as an introduction to the program environment, methods and expectations while building a relationship with the directors prior to the audition.
