Registration required through Eventbrite
Season jars members will share their knowledge about fermentation, explore traditional food preservation methods and reflect on the role of food preservation on building more sustainable, healthy and resilient food systems.
We will collectively prepare delicious seasoning recipes such as Chimichurri and Pico de Gallo. These recipes use a variety of preservation methods, they are slightly fermented, some can be preserved with vinegar and oil, then refrigerated. They can be served as dipping sauce, over meats, are delicious over toast, roasted potatoes, mushrooms or sea food and they can still be used as a marinate.
