The WHO Executive Board is a governing body composed of 34 members
technically qualified in health, each designated by a Member State
elected by the World Health Assembly for a three-year term. Its main
functions include implementing the decisions of the Health Assembly,
preparing the agenda for the Assembly, and providing advice to
facilitate its work. The Board also reviews WHO's work, oversees the
implementation of health strategies, and manages the organization's
budget.
