This event is one of the most popular fairs in Prague—a huge celebration is organized annually in Prague. The festival, also known as Matějská pouť, has a long history dating back to the 16th century. This annual fair has been attracting whole families for more than 400 years. © Filip Holík The festival grounds have around 120 attractions including roller coasters, houses of horror, carousels, waterfalls, cannonballs, a water world, a ferris wheel, and much more. This is not just for kids, but adults as well. There are lots of adrenaline-pumping attractions as well. The festival opens in late February and lasts until mid-April.
