Jonas is the Co-Founder of 7Mind, a mindfulness app to help you become a happier, more confident you. He studied Economics at University Witten/Herdecke and at Korea University. Before founding 7Mind and the yearly Mind Conference, Jonas worked for Daimler, ThyssenKrupp and PwC. He is always looking for new opportunities to bring mindfulness into everyday life of people and organizations.

Thrilled about life and an avid traveller, I used to live and work in several cities and countries - currently based in London &amp; Berlin. Following several years working in the consulting, finance &amp; investment industry, I am now actively involved in the VC &amp; startup world.

Verena Victoria Scheffczyk, Co-Director
Passionate traveller, thrilled about VC, Startups and Tech, I used to live in New York, Paris and Beijing. I gained first working experiences in banking and consulting and hold a Bachelor degree in Business from Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich. Apart from my current studies, I am running the Startup Grind Chapter in Berlin whereby we invite local entrepreneurs and investors to share their success stories with our startup community. Besides, I am currently getting first-hand experiences in Venture Capital at Earlybird VC - one of the most successful venture capital firms in Europe.

Tom H. Lautenbacher, Startup Grind Berlin - Head of Marketing
I have been an entrepreneur as long as I can remember, making my first sales in primary school and founding my first company at age 18. Since then I have founded and led another 2 conventional companies and 2 tech startups. I have also worked in sales, as a business developer and as an IT manager and I have consulted tech startups, SMEs, big corporations and public institutions in business and IT matters. Having grown up in Germany and Greece, I am a bi-cultural and trilingual Third Culture Kid and I have alternately lived, worked and founded in both countries. I hold the business management degree of «Diplom-Kaufmann FH» of the Aachen University of Applied Sciences and have published a scientific monograph called «The Development of Business Ideas – A guide to the systematic generation, evaluation and selection of ideas for new business fields within the scope of Internal Corporate Venturing», which ranked #2 at Amazon's bestseller list in the category “Business Planning”. I joined Startup Grind Berlin as Head of Marketing in May 2018 and my objective is to establish these event series to become the most significant monthly meetup event of Berlin's startup community, aiming to educate, inspire and connect entrepreneurs in this world class startup hub.
