Kunst im Wohnzimmer 3: Christina Huber

_KUNST IM WOHNZIMMER _ist eine Reihe von Einzelausstellungen in Berlin, die in  privaten Räumlichkeiten stattfinden. KiW ist keine Ausstellung im Langzeitformat, sondern FINDET INNERHALB VON DREI TAGEN STATT. _CHRISTINA HUBER_, *1988 lebt und arbeitet in Berlin und London. Derzeit studiert sie bildende Kunst an der Universität der Künste Berlin und an der Central Saint Martins UAL London. Mit einem malerischen Ansatz erkundet sie das Zusammenspiel zwischen Gestik und verschiedenen Oberflächenstrukturen. Ihre Arbeiten werden im nationalen sowie im internationalen Rahmen in Deutschland, der Schweiz und London ausgestellt. SAMSTAG,  15.12.2018: EXPERTEN GESPRÄCH II  >> Restauratorin und Raumgestalterin SIGRID MARKITON verleiht uns im Gespräch mit CHRISTINA HUBER und Kurator EMANUEL LUCKE einen Enblick in die Materialwelten, die Ihr unter anderem im Berliner Denkmalschutz, auf Filmsets (u.a. für Wim Wenders) und auch in der Architektur begegnen. EVENTS TAKE PLACE OVER THE COURSE OF THREE DAYS. _CHRISTINA HUBER_, born 1988, lives and works in Berlin and London. She is currently studying fine arts at the University of Arts, Berlin and Central Saint Martins UAL London. With a painterly approach, she is interested in the interplay of gestures and various surface textures. SATURDAY, 15.12.2018: EXPERT TALK II  >> In a dialog with the artist CHRISTINA HUBER and curator Emanuel Lucke, guest speaker SIGRID MARKITON, an expert in restoration and design, will provide us with an insight into the material worlds she has explored within the realms of historical preservation, film sets (like Wim Wenders) and architecture, amongst others. SUNDAY, 16.12.2018: EXPERT TALK III  >> Guest speaker RONA BIRD, who contributes an academic background in the social sciences, and curator Dorothea Douglas will comment on the interplay of human gesture and material in processes of communication and signification. Its semi-permeable nature mirrors that of our collective. This quality makes both entities able to interact meaningfully despite their open character.
