Die neue Multimedia-Ausstellung VON MONET BIS KANDINSKY.VISIONS ALIVE Die Revolution der Kunst in HD und Dolby Surround Nach den erfolgreichen Ausstellungen VAN GOGH. ALIVE 2015 und HIERONYMUS BOSCH.VISONS ALIVE 2016/2017 ist mit VON MONET BIS KANDINSKY.VISIONS ALIVE jetzt eine weitere multimediale Bilderschau in Berlin zu sehen. VON MONET BIS KANDINSKY.VISIONS ALIVE präsentiert auf ca. 1000 qm die Werke der sechzehn bedeutendsten Künstler aus der Epoche der «Klassischen Moderne» in einer einzigartigen Kombination aus animierter Video-Projektion zu ausgewählter Musik. CLAUDE MONET, EDGAR DEGAS, PAUL GAUGUIN, HENRI ROUSSEAU, HENRI DE TOULOUSE-LAUTREC, GUSTAV KLIMT, PAUL SIGNAC, PIET MONDRIAN, AMEDEO MODIGLIANI, VINCENT VAN GOGH, PIERRE-AUGUSTE RENOIR, JUAN GRIS, PAUL KLEE, EDVARD MUNCH, WASSILY KANDINSKY UND KASIMIR MALEWITSCH. Ihnen allen gemeinsam ist die Suche nach neuen visuellen Formen, um die gewaltigen Metamorphosen ihrer Zeit zu erfassen, die geprägt war von der industriellen Revolution, politischen Umbrüchen und Kriegen. Ihre Abkehr von der Abbildung der Realität entfaltete sich u.a. im Expressionismus, in der abstrakten Malerei, im Surrealismus und Suprematismus. Die Malerei der «Klassischen Moderne» stellt dem betrachtenden Auge oftmals Geheimnisvolles bereit, wodurch es gezwungen scheint, wie durch ein Labyrinth über das künstlerische Werk zu wandern. Sie verweist auf die Sinnhaftigkeit dort, wo die Tradition nur Chaos und Sinnlosigkeit erkennt. Mit Hilfe digitaler Techniken werden die Bilder auf ein Neues zum Leben erweckt.
