IVAN ALTER has practiced law since 1994, but his career took a transformative turn when he discovered the understanding-based model at CUC. After years as a commercial and matrimonial litigator, Ivan realized there was a better way to help families through divorce. Today, he dedicates his practice entirely to mediation and collaborative law, with offices in Westchester County and New York City. An active member of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals, the Family and Divorce Mediation Council, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and Northern Westchester Collaborative Divorce, Ivan is passionate about teaching others the skills that changed his professional life. ROSENTHAL, ESQ. has been mediating divorce and practicing collaborative law since 2006.  Before going out on her own, Joy represented children in foster care and in delinquency (criminal) proceedings.
