Groove Razors

Groove Razors is a fusion quintet founded in London by Polish pianist Tomasz Zyrmont and British drummer Laurie Lowe and featuring some of the finest Jazz musicians in the London jazz scene. Since its inception in 2009, the band has earned a strong following with their spontaneous interplay, limitless energy and unparalleled virtuosity attracting coverage from many radio stations and promoters. Groove Razors performed at the London Jazz Festival, East European Jazz Festival, Jazz FM’s Discovery Show, Yamaha Music Live, Jazz FM Live, World Travel Market London. Their music has been broadcast on many radio stations including Jazz FM, Polish Radio London, Belgrade 202, Resonance FM, Orla FM, RMG FM, Diverse FM, Peterborough FM and Near Dublin FM. The band has performed with such as artists as: Adam Baldych, Alex Hutchings, Lorenzo Bassignani, Dean Mongerio, Nik Svarc, Rick Leon James, Francesco Mendolia and Jono McNeil.

For the event, Groove Razors have chosen to play Yamaha instruments, provided by Yamaha Music London – the European flagship store of the world’s most-trusted musical instrument maker. The band is getting back together after years of solo careers and multiple other projects for this very special Reactivation concert. The performance will premiere tracks from the band’s new album, coming in 2019.
