An evening of folk music with a splash of rock. Bring your dancing shoes.CALL ME ISHMAEL, ELECTRIC EDEN & THE SHOCKZ CALL ME ISHMAEL are an Alton based progressive folk group. Fusing a diverse mix of styles combining Mediaeval, English Folk, Traditional Irish and Americana influences, their eclectic music includes many songs you already know as well as new material written by the group. While definitely not a traditional finger in the ear style folk group, their combined 250 years of musical experience and mix of acoustic and electronic sounds provide an unusual and welcome twist on the genre. ELECTRIC EDEN are a three piece contemporary English folk band from Hampshire, producing a very earthy traditional sound with a modern approach to folk song writing.
