10 Mile circular walk from Ashbourne going to Ilam, Dovedale, Thorpe Cloud.

A fabulous walk starting from the Tissington Trail, it goes to the pretty Village of Ilam, Ilam Park onto Dovedale, then up to the summit of Thorpe Cloud (amazing views from here), through the beautiful Lindale to Thorpe Village, and back onto the Tissington Trail to Ashbourne.This scenic walk through fields pastures and dales, along the River and through Villages.

Some paths may be muddy so walking boots, gaiters, and walking poles maybe needed. There are plenty of stiles to climb over to.

Toilets at the start of the Tissington Trail, Ilam Park and DovedaleWhat to bring: a rucksack with plenty of water, snacks and lunch for when we stop half way. Pack waterproofs and extra clothes depending on the weather forecast for the day.

Lunch will be at Ilam Park where you can grab a coffee or a fab piece of cake from the national trust café.

Dogs are more than welcome.
