Step back in time to the romance of the Jazz Age at London’s
award-winning 1920s-themed speakeasy party, with live jazz, cabaret
and cocktails in a secret venue filled with candles, where everyone
dresses the part. Shrug off the winter blues and embrace the joys of
spring with a night of revelry at our south London ballroom: leading
the revels will be Host With the Most, Champagne Charlie, with a saucy
song and a cabaret swagger, who will introduce racy burlesque from
Miss Jolie Papillon and red-hot ragtime rhythms from the seven-piece
Trudgeon’s Trad Jazz Troubadours. When the band aren’t playing,
DJs the Bee’s Knees will be spinning vintage vinyl into the night.
In a side room we'll have a pop-up vintage jewellery store and our
tarot reader Lucius. There will also be a complimentary dance lesson
in the Charleston from Russell and Sara. You can come just for drinks
and dancing, but you can also reserve a table with Champagne, or book
the three-course dinner. There’s even an inclusive-drinks option.
Ticket-holders receive an email two days before revealing the secret
location (which is close to a tube station). So pull on your flapper
dress and get ready to shimmy… "The closest you'll find to an
authentic Jazz Age experience in central London. Its unique ambience,
fuelled by hundreds of candles, is truly a scene to behold." —Time
