A guided walking tour exploring the intersection of art and architecture in the City of LONDON, led by the project ARCHITECTS AT OUR STUDIO.ABOUT THIS EVENT _*ART & ARCHITECTURE IN THE CITY - WITH FLETCHER PRIEST ARCHITECTS_* We invite you to join us for a curated walking tour of the City of London, where architecture and art intersect in surprising and inspiring ways. Led by the project ARCHITECTS AT OUR LONDON STUDIO, this exclusive tour offers a unique insider’s perspective, showcasing our projects that exemplify artistic collaboration. In alignment with the 2025 theme of the LONDON Festival of Architecture, _*_VOICES*** , we will explore the dialogue between architects, artists, and the public that experiences it. You will gain insight into the conception of these works, the creative challenges encountered during their development, and the impact of opening these spaces to the broader community. The tour will commence at our recently completed project, 150 ALDERSGATE , specifically at Braidwood Passage, where we collaborated with the artist Alexis Teplin, and end near Liverpool Street at our ongoing project, ONE EXCHANGE SQUARE. The design of Braidwood Passage serves to bridge the Brutalist aesthetic of the Barbican with Smithfield’s Victorian brickwork. Drawing inspiration from woven textiles, the passage features tiles as an artistic intervention. These tiles, adorned with painted arcs inspired by the balconies of the Barbican and etched marks symbolising stitching and weaving, create a striking visual effect. _*TOUR DETAILS:_* Start times: _*5:30 PM, 5:45 PM, AND 6:00 PM_* _*DURATION:_* 1-hour walking tour, followed by a drink and conversation at a local pub - on us! _*LOCATION:_* The tour will begin at 150 ALDERSGATE STREET and conclude at ONE EXCHANGE SQUARE . All Ticket costs will be donated to a local charity. Spaces are capped at 15 people per tour.
