What will be covered?
This session will look explicitly at the research underpinning the emphasis on teaching vocabulary, explore the end of KS1 and KS2 reading test expectations for vocabulary, and will offer some practical advice for teachers and schools.

About Shareen Wilkinson
Shareen is an experienced primary school teacher, senior leader and a former LA lead primary English adviser. She is also an established educational author, writer and series editor. Shareen advises at national level, including as a DfE grammar and reading (KS1 and KS2) subject specialist.
