If you're interested in learning how to perform the two weightlifting movements - the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk - then come along to our beginner weightlifting classes at Bethnal Green Weightlifting Club. We'll start the session promptly so I'd advise getting there a bit early to give yourself time to change and do any extra warmup you need. If it is your first time coming to the gym aim to arrive 15 minutes early and ask for our coach Chris.
If the class is full for the dates you want to attend check back the night before or the morning of the class - people often cancel.
Who is this class for?
This class is for people with little to no experience of the snatch or clean & jerk. If you are competent in the lifts already or are looking to practice powerlifting (squat, bench press and deadlift) then please come along to our other training evenings. Opening times can be found on
