Our holiday activity follows the Forest School ethos of child-led
learning, building on the innate curiosity and sense of wonder that
the natural environment brings out in children of all ages. Typical
Forest School activities include, fire lighting, shelter building,
orienteering, nature hikes, woodworking and crafting, environmental
art and environmental care and team games. Each day we will come
together to prepare, cook and eat lunch made over the campfire, a
great bonding experience. Based at our Bryanston Prep Forest School
site and run by our experienced Forest School Leader Dawn, children
will have the space and freedom to play and learn – whether they
make a rope swing or climb a tree, build a den or relax in a home-made
hammock, there’s always something to do! Your child will leave with
new skills, new friends and a smile on their face whatever the
weather!
