‘Polden usefully identifies key conflicts around frequency, at both clinical and institutional levels, questioning the automatic equations between high-frequency, high-intensity and high-value clinical work.’ (Ann Scott, Editor of the British Journal of Psychotherapy). BJP, November 2018, Volume 34(4).
Jane’s paper will be presented in the morning, followed by a Q&A session. The afternoon round table discussion for members will explore the paper in more detail, with a particular focus on training considerations. There are only 12 places available for this and priority will be given to members involved in training.
Jane Polden is a Senior member of the British Psychotherapy Federation (BPF); she was formerly Vice Chair of the LCP and sat on the Board of BPF until October 2017.
