King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (King’s) is one of London’s largest and busiest hospitals with a well-established national and international reputation for clinical excellence, innovation and achievement.

The Trust provides a full range of local hospital services across its five sites, the Denmark Hill site is one of four Major Trauma Centres in London. The Trust also provides other nationally and internationally recognised specialist services including Liver transplantation, Neurosciences, Haemato-oncology and foetal medicine.

Radiology plays a critical role in the management pathway of most patients.

The Radiology department is seeking to expand its radiographic staff base at AFC Bands 3-7.

 We currently have vacancies in the following areas :

Band 4 Assistant Radiographic Practitioner – Main Radiology

Band 4 Assistant Radiographic Practitioner – Breast Imaging

Band 4 Assistant Radiographic Practitioner – Dental Imaging

Band 5 Radiographer – Dental Imaging

Band 6 Mammographer – Breast Imaging (non-training post)

Band 6 Rotational Radiographer Main Radiology

Band 6 Radiographer - Neuroradiology

Band 7 Rotational Radiographer

Band 7 Radiographer - Neuroradiology

Band 7 MRI Radiographer – Main Radiology

Band 7 Deputy Cardiac Cath Lab Superintendent

Band 7 Professional Development Radiographer

 

On Saturday 9th February 2019 (10am-2pm) the Radiology department will host an open day for anyone interested in finding out more about Radiology at King's. Attendees will tour all areas of the department, meet our team and discuss the many opportunities available. If you are an enthusiastic motivated individual with the desire to make a difference and a passion for patient centred care we want to hear from you.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of our dedicated workforce in this prestigious Trust. Irrespective of where you are in your career currently we encourage you to consider this event. Students graduating in 2019 and those considering a return to radiographic practice are welcome. As well as those who would consider a position in Main and Neuro Imaging, candidates interested in Breast Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Dental Radiography should also attend.
