SamRecks

  Southeast London’s SamRecks moves between lo-fi textures and heavy 808s, drawing from alt-rap, hip-hop, chill drill and RnB. It’s forward-facing nostalgia, built on stories of adolescence, relationships and self-discovery, delivered with breezy intonation and sharp rhythmic control. His 2023 debut EP Easier Said Than Done, featuring ‘BACK PACK’, ‘SUMO’ and ‘Situationship 2’, built global momentum, cementing his distinct voice in the UK underground. In 2026, he returns with REKKI II. Now fully independent after leaving his warehouse job to pursue music full time, his work is self-directed and visually led, shaping a fully realised world around each release.
