Combination Dance Company presents Action Potential: an innovative
contemporary dance performance investigating current neuroscience on
the effects of motor neurone disease on the brain.
The performance takes place at the Bloomsbury Studio part of the
Bloomsbury Theatre, 15 Gordon Street WC1H 0AH. This work is a great
example of the innovative projects being developed by universities,
special interest groups and arts organisations in the field of public
engagement with scientific research. If you love dance and care about
the exploration of scientific ideas in contemporary culture, this
event is for you!
We will Meet Up in the theatre foyer before the show, enjoy the FREE
performance and have a drink and a chat afterwards with the cast and
director.
Arrive at venue: 6.30pm
Show: 7.00pm
Panel Discussion: 7.35pm
Drinks: 8.00pm
This is a great opportunity to meet other group members, see a
performance and have something curious and cool to get your critical
dance science mind stuck into when we chat afterwards. Looking forward
to meeting you there!
