2019 Sheffield Santa Dash 5km/10km fun run and walk

SHEFFIELD'S OWN FESTIVE FAMILY FUN RUN IS COMING TO TOWN! So much fun that we're doing it TWICE in 2019! Bring your family and friends and join us as we take to the streets for the 2019 SHEFFIELD SANTA FUN RUN AND WALK. No SANTA SUIT? No problem! All entrants will get a free SANTA HAT AND TECHNICAL RACE T-shirt, so you can look and feel festive! Do something amazing this Christmas - come and join us as we raise much needed funds for charity at the same time as spreading festive cheer and having fun. SANTA HIMSELF WILL START THE RACE IN HIS SLEIGH, and there'll be a FREE gift for all kids, too. It's a colourful, family-friendly event on a totally traffic-free, wheelchair- and pram-accessible route. Even well-behaved dogs are welcome to join us. This event was sold out in 2018, so this year you can choose whether to start at 11am or at a more leisurely 2pm. Choose your distance, choose your start time, and come on and join the fun. Full route details will be available shortly but the Fun Run will start & finish on the canal towpath behind The Source (within a short walking distance of Meadowhall, meaning that you shouldn't have any parking problems). Afterwards you can head off to finish your Christmas shopping or enjoy the Christmas spirit over lunch at Meadowhall. It’s time to dust the snow off your running shoes, earn those mince pies, and sign up for this amazing festive event on Saturday 21st December 2019! There will be seasonal cheer from the crowds to get you on your way. A warm up to loosen those limbs will take place at the start, plus lots of other SANTAS TO DASH, dance or prance the pavements with. There's a FREE SANTA T-shirt and hat for every entrant, plus a medal and mince pies when you get to the finish. This is a hugely popular local event, and is expected to sell out again quickly.
