Beauty and The Beast Ice Show - 18 April, 6.30pm

Be our guest this Easter at Riverside ice rink, for  Riverside and Chelmsford Ice Skating Club's beautiful amateur production of Beauty and the Beast on ice.

Let us transport you into a magical world and follow the tale of love and bravery, inspired by the Disney classic. Featuring colourful costumes and catchy songs, the ice show is a fantastic musical treat for all the family. 

Please note that that these performances contain flashing lights, strobe lighting, loud noises and pyrotechnics.

Booking

• Tickets go on sale at 10am on 5 February and are online only.

• You can bring your printed ticket, or show your e-ticket at the door.

• You can view a seating plan here. 

Discounted tickets

You can get a discounted ticket if you are:

• under 16 years

• over 65 years

• in receipt of Jobs seekers allowance, income support, Personal Independence Payment, Disability Living Allowance or a Veteran ID card

• Carers: please contact the centre to book your tickets

Refunds

• Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

Transport and parking

• There is a pay and display car park for customers at the centre, however parking is limited so we recommend you consider alternative parking. You can find out information and prices about car parks at www.chelmsford.gov.uk/carparks

The show

• This is an amateur production, by Chelmsford Ice Skating Club

• The show is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes long, including a 15 minute interval.

• The show is suitable for all the family.

• We have baby changing units in our ice rink accessible toilet, and in the cafe toilets.

• Children aged under two years old sitting on laps do not require a ticket.

Accessibility

• We have a specific area suitable for wheelchair users.

• We would recommend that those with accessible needs book an aisle seat. 

• If you have difficulty walking, please be aware that the rink side and stage seating is tiered. Also please be aware that the show will feature music, loud noises and flashing lights, including strobe lighting and pyrotechnics.

• We have an accessible toilet next to skate hire. We have two Changing Places units; one on the first floor, but this is on the other side of the mezzanine. The second is in pool changing on the ground floor.

Food and drink

• Our ground floor cafe, Paddy and Scott's will be open throughout the performance, selling hot and cold food and drinks, and snacks.
