Come with me, to explore the City of London in a unique way, by considering the historic Old City of London, in parallel to the New City of London, with its exciting new architecture. Along with the classic landmarks, we will also explore secret historic streets and alley ways, such as Castle Court and Groveland Court. Great photo opportunities along the way, but I will allow for a couple of extra minutes for specific photo hot spots. We will start at Aldgate Station, heading straight to 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin), then to the Leadenhall building (Cheese grater). Then onto the Lloyds of London and Leadenhall Market, (photo hot spot here with the old market and the hyper modern Lloyds building). Then onto Castle Court , the Royal Exchange, Bank of England and No.1 Poultry (photo hot spot, No.1 Poultry seen from the Bank of England, you will notice is in the shape of a modern ship). Then to the Ned building, St Mary Le Bow Church, Groveland Court, One New Change, St Paul's Cathedral, Paternoster Sqaure, and finally at another photo hot spot, on the Millennium Bridge, with the view of the Tate Modern and the classic Baroque of St Pauls Cathedral. There will be three to five minutes at each location, and we will be covering a distance of around one mile.
