Massage with Maggie McAteer

With more than 20 years of experience in the holistic field, I have developed my practice so that I can offer a variety of wonderful, healing treatments. I work intuitively with my clients and tailor the treatment to meet their needs.

Please choose from one of the following treatments on the day:
- Swedish Massage (including deep tissue work) - A deep relaxing massage which is excellent for easing aching muscles; improving circulation; lymphatic drainage; increasing the body’s metabolic rate and generally giving a sense of deep relaxation and well -being. Deep tissue work can also be carried out if required. This is more focused on problem areas where I can work deeper into the muscle to break down knots and nodules and ease inflammation. 

- Ayurvedic Kansa Vatki foot massage with marma therapy (Indian acupressure) is an ancient Ayurvedic health-care modality, which balances the body, mind and spirit. The massage is deeply revitalising for tired feet and legs and, as the feet contain key energy and nerve endings relating to internal organs, a Kansa Vatki treatment also helps to rebalance the doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha energies).This treatment is good for everyone and ideal for those who spend long hours on their feet.

Maggie will ask you to sign a paper waiver before your treatment.
