Hunt around our beautiful grounds following the clues to find the
prize. Enjoy additional activities including Fire lighting, Pond
dipping and Shelter building - all of which MUST be booked in
advance.
*Please note that once tickets are sold out for the Egg Hunt, we have
no further spaces. We cannot accept walk ins on the day for the Easter
Egg Hunt or Bushcraft activities. We can also only accommodate ticket
holders for the timeslot they have purchased.
The rest of the day is open for you to come along and enjoy. Browse
the craft stalls, enjoy the kiddie and donkey rides, face and glitter
painting and sample food and drink.
FAQS
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the
event?
_Set in 108 acres of parkland that’s only 20 minutes from London
Liverpool Street Station and 5 minutes’ drive from the M25 we
benefit from both easy accessibility and ample parking facilities._
_By rail, our nearest station is Chingford. Situated south of our
centre, it is approximately 4 minutes drive. Taxis are available from
outside of the station. You may wish to use the Transport for
London __website [https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/]__ to plot your
journey._
PARKING
Parking will be charged at £2 per vehicle on entry. Ample parking is
available on site, however please car share where possible to save on
emissions.
CAN I PAY BY CARD ON SITE?
The event is prepaid however we will have a number of additional
activities and refreshments available to purchase on the day. Although
our adventure cafe accepts card payments we do not have an ATM on site
so please bring the cash that you may need.
DO CHILDREN NEED TO BE ACCOMMPANIED?
_Yes. Adults accompanying a group agree to act “in loco parentis‟
at all times and assume responsibility for all young people (i.e. a
person under 18 years of age) in their group. Gilwell Park staff only
provide instruction during Activities and must not be relied upon for
the supervision of young people unless expressly agreed by them. It is
both the Booking Purchaser and Ticket User’s responsibility to be
aware and inform other adults in their group of these requirements. A
group in this scenario is classed as 10 young people. Adult tickets
are free, therefore please register any accompanyng adults._
