Located at the top of CASTLE STREET IN THE MARKET TOWN OF FARNHAM IN SURREY, FARNHAM CASTLE IS THE 900 YEAR OLD HISTORIC FORMER HOME OF THE BISHOP'S OF WINCHESTER AND GUILDFORD. Built by the the grandson of William the Conqueror, this incredible CASTLE IS AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO VISIT ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS. Enjoy a 1 hour GUIDED TOUR, exploring the magnificent halls, reception rooms, grounds and views. Combine your tour with a visit to the CASTLE KEEP AND A BROWSE AROUND OUR SMALL EXHIBITION CENTRE.If you're exploring Farnham on a Wednesday, a visit to Farnham Castle is a must. However, you must pre-book your tickets in advance, as the tour capacity is limited. Maximum of 6 tickets available per tour. Complimentary parking is available for booked tours. 2pm Tours: Bishop's Palace Tour (2-3pm) followed by Castle Keep visit and exhibition. 3pm Tours: Please arrive at 2pm to visit the Castle Keep and exhibition before commencing your 3pm tour. The Castle car park will close at 4pm. Please note: There are a number of steps and uneven surfaces located within the Castle and Keep. _COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:__ Your guides will be wearing face coverings and all visitors are required to cover their faces whilst in the buildings (unless exempt). Hand sanitiser will be available for you to use, and the number of visitors has been limited to allow you to observe social distancing during your visit.
