It is my way of showing as well as expressing the love and respect I have for someone I've truly admired from day one. As Angie's dear friend, support vocalist and writing partner for well over 22 years, I feel as though it is my duty and honor not to just sing her songs, but to also let the world know who she was behind the scenes, a wonderful and gifted God fearing human being. Working directly beside her, I had the opportunity to experience the ups and downs of her musical career. I came to admire how she persevered to become the musical icon that she is. I am so excited to not only sing the songs that we created but to also to share how each one was born, from thought to music. Her lyrics came from a special place within. Each word was meaningful and intentional. It is my desire to let the world know exactly how much Angie poured her heart into her craft so that she could leave us with such wonderful and soulful music. In my performance this and more will be shared. It is my pleasure to delight you with “The Angie Stone Experience”.
