La Linea Festival presents Juana Aguirre, the innovative
singer-songwriter and composer from Buenos Aires. Known for her unique
fusion of experimental, folk, and Latin American music, Juana has
garnered attention for her interdisciplinary approach to art. As the
founder of the acclaimed band Churupaca, she has toured extensively
across Latin America and beyond. Juana recently opened for artists
such as BadBadNotGood and Alice Phoebe Lou, positioning herself as one
of the most promising avant-garde artists in the current South
American music scene. With her latest single “lo_divino” serving
as a sneak peek into her highly anticipated second album set for
release in late 2024, this performance promises to be a showcase of
Juana’s avant-garde artistry and captivating stage presence. Joining
Juana Aguirre as a special guest, Montañera brings her intense and
distinctive voice to the stage. Known for her fusion of Electronic,
Folk, and Ambient music, Montañera’s recent album, A Flor De Piel,
received outstanding reviews from Pitchfork, The Guardian, Iggy
Pop(BBC Radio), David Byrne, amongst many others. With performances at
notable venues like London’s Jazz Café and Southbank Centre,
Montañera’s music has also appeared in Netflix series such as Wild
District and Accidente, showcasing folk as a dynamic, evolving art
