FUN-BASED UPSKILLING SESSIONS

2 Day Camp - 10:00am - 15:00pm Each Day

Saracens Skills Camps are run over two full and exciting days for rugby players within U7 – U15 age groups. With the aim of improving the rugby specific skills as well as goal setting, decision making and leadership skills, coaches will tailor activities to the needs of individual players. Each day will follow a structured schedule of rugby activities with players enjoying access to several different coaches, but with plenty of time and focus on having fun and developing friendships. All provided in a safe and secure environment. 

U7s/U8s (Half Days) - 10:00-13:00
U9s-U15s (Full Days)- 10:00-15:00

Daily Structure -

10:00-10:30 – Activation and Warm Up

10:30-11:15 – Attack Focus
Skills circuit - Run, Kick, Pass

11:15 – 12:00 – Defence Focus
Skills circuit - Work Rate, Connection, Line Speed 

12:30-13:00 – U7s/U8s Showcase Game

13:00 – U7s & U8s Pick Up

13:00-13:30 – Transition Game

13:30-14:15 – Preparation for contact and Contact Skills
Day 1 – Tackle technique
Day 2 – Ruck technique

14:15-14:40 – Age Grade Regulation Introduction

14:40-15:00 – Showcase Game

15:00 – U9s-U15s Pick Up
