Make a Vinok headpiece

Create your own Ukrainian floral headpiece, the Vinok.

The Vinok is a symbol of resilience, strength, determination, beauty, freedom and femininity.

In this workshop, you’ll design and build your own flower crown while learning the meanings behind the colours, shapes, and flowers used in this ancient art.

The workshop is free but booking is essential!

This event is part of a series of creative Saturday workshops celebrating Ukrainian traditions, identity, and resilience inspired by the powerful exhibition ‘Erased from the Face of the Earth’ currently on display at M Shed.
