Nisha Ramayya grew up in Glasgow and is currently based in London. Her debut collection States of the Body Produced by Love (2019) - a ‘modern mystical journey through love’ – is published by Ignota Books and has been hailed as ‘urgent and lyrical’ by the New Statesman.

She is a member of the ‘Race & Poetry & Poetics in the UK’ research group and a lecturer in Creative Writing at Queen Mary University of London.

Workshop places are limited and must be booked in advance.

Nisha will be reading from her work and in conversation with Humber Mouth reader-in-residence Jennifer Hodgson at 7pm.
