BRENTFORD FC CST FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE - TRIALS, 10 APRIL 2018 SCHOOL YEARS 7-11 Tuesday 10 APRIL 2018 SWIFT ROAD OUTDOOR SPORTS CENTRE SWIFT ROADSOUTHALLMIDDLESEXUB2 4RP PLACES ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR OUR FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE TRIALS WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE ON TUESDAY 10 APRIL 2018. The TRIALS ARE SEPARATED INTO TWO SESSIONS WITH TRIALS FOR YEARS 1 TO 6 TAKING PLACE IN THE MORNING AND FOR YEARS 7 TO 11 TAKING PLACE IN THE AFTERNOON. (Please note we can only accept applications for players who live in the following Borough’s: Hounslow, Richmond, Ealing, Hillingdon & Spelthorne). PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THESE TRIALS IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN THESE AREAS AS WE CANNOT ACCEPT YOU. Current FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE PLAYERS NEED NOT APPLY FOR THESE TRIALS. Our FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (FDC) has been in existence for over 18 YEARS AND WAS STARTED WITH THE AIM OF OFFERING A DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR TALENTED YOUNG PLAYERS. The fee-based weekly programme operates at 2 venues (SOUTHALL and Twickenham). Players train once a week and need to commit to the whole season of training if accepted. The programme runs in conjunction with training that players may receive elsewhere. The FDC also offers a *DEVELOPMENT MATCH PROGRAMME (during school holidays), taking place 5 times a year. Matches are played against other professional clubs DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES SUCH AS READING, Swindon Town, Coventry, MK Dons, Wycombe Wanderers and Oxford United amongst others. Primarily, we recruit players via our existing projects and trusted sources. However, The FDC TRIALS ARE HELD TWICE A YEAR (also at Easter) and gives players a chance to trial who would not normally be a participant at one of our sessions. Players must be in school year’s 1 to 11.    For those in Year 11, a route exists to apply for our ELITE DEVELOPMENT FOOTBALL PROGRAMME IN CONJUNCTION WITH WEST THAMES COLLEGE WHICH IS A POTENTIAL PATHWAY TO BRENTFORD FC'S NEWLY FORMED 'B' TEAM. We can also offer players in that age group a potential pathway to play for BRENTFORD FC IN THE ENGLISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE TRUST NATIONAL FUTAL LEAGUE. Pathways include, The FA Futsal CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE, England U19 & 23 Futsal teams. Contact details for this can be seen at the bottom of the page We will be holding our eighth set of TRIALS FOR OUR FDC AT SWIFT ROAD OUTDOOR SPORTS CENTRE (adjacent to Dairy Meadow School) in SOUTHALL. There will be a training session followed by conditioned small-sided games. The trial lasts for 2 hours. The TRIALS COST £10.00 per person (plus booking fee). Places are strictly limited in all the age groups - your child must train in the correct year group and live in one of the eligible Borough’s (see top of article) for this trial. Registration closes at 11;59pm, Sunday 8 APRIL, 2018. NO PAY ON THE DAY APPLICATIONS ACCEPTEDIf your child is successful then they will be invited to join the FDC group - this will not affect your child’s regular Saturday or Sunday FOOTBALL. FDC Trial Itinerary – Tuesday 10 APRIL 2018 AFTERNOON SESSION YEARS 7 & 8 (combined), 9, 10 & 11 (combined) 12.30pm - 1.00pm: Registration 1.00pm - 1.55pm: Training 1.55pm - 2.00pm: Break2.00pm - 2.55pm: Matches2.55pm - 3.00pm: Debrief 3.00pm - 3.05pm: Departure Parents/Guardians, please note the following: We cannot accept on the day bookings, once places are filled we will no longer accept bookings for that age group.The Trust cannot accept bookings from parents for players other than their own as this infringes upon our strict Child Protection and Health and Safety policies. Full information including venue details, player kit list etc is available upon completion of player registration. *The match day programme involves both home and away fixtures - travelling is involved.
