Jota QUEST IS A BRAZILIAN POP ROCK BAND FORMED IN 1993 IN THE CITY OF BELO HORIZONTE. It was because they liked funk rock and acid jazz that bassist PJ and drummer Paulinho Fonseca decided to form a band. Guitarist Marco Túlio Lara and keyboardist Márcio Buzelin joined the group shortly after. Rogério Flausino began his career with the band after being chosen in an audition with more than eighteen candidates. The group enjoyed success during the 1990s and 2000s, with several hit songs, including "Dias Melhores", "Amor Maior", "Só Hoje", "Do Seu Lado" and "Fácil". They have sold more than 5 million records throughout their career, making them one of the best-selling musical artists in Brazil.
