Harrietsham Circular Walk

On 25th July we will be heading Harrietsham, taking advantage of the spring line on the lower slopes of the Downs. Using part of the North Downs Way, the route offers some excellent views of the surrounding countryside.

We will be meeting outside the Harrietsham Railway Station Car Park at 09:45 for a 10 am prompt start. There is limited parking at Harrietsham station and some on-road parking around the village.

The walk will take approximately 3.5 hours (around 12 km / 8miles), will include a lunch stop and will cost £3.50 per person - about the same price as a coffee. Friendly dogs that will go on a lead when necessary are welcome.

If I can ask that you kindly let me know if you change your mind about going so we don't wait around for someone who can no long attend.

I ask everyone to bring with them:

A - Suitable footwear (strong shoes or boots preferably walking boots no Flip-flops)

B- A waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers?) in case of rain

C - Drinking water and a lunch

D - Personal medication (please make me aware in confidence of any medical condition you may have that may affect you in the walk no matter how small)

E- Suitable walking clothing

F- HAND GEL AND A FACE MASK

Depending on Covid regulations at the time, there might only be 'natural' toilets along the way (a bush).

We might all need to walk apart (unless in your bubbles) of 2m.

I might ask every one to sign a COVID register upon arrival
