VJ Day Challenge 2025 | Sat 16 Aug | Book @ Findarace

VJ Day challenge is a 6 hour challenge is a timed event where you can run a 5k or ultra marathon within the time limit.

The event will start at 8:30am and registration will open at 7:30am.

The course is 4.37 miles a lap but there'll be a 5k turn point and a 10k will be 2 laps of the 5k lap, a half marathon will be 3 laps of the 4.37 miles course, 6 laps for a marathon, 7 or more for an ultra marathon.

There'll be a aid table at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of different food.

You can start your last lap up until 5:59:59 hrs.

Course is on a tarmac path along an old railway line, the course is an out and back with no navigation required.

Toilets will be at a local lesuire facility.

Parking: there is limited car parking on (poorhouse Lane) there are parking restrictions in parts down, there's also parking on Preston Road again park responsible. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE SOCCER SENSATIONS CARPARK THAT IS FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS ONLY. Or any other local business car parks.

After finishing you'll get a medal and a goody bag.
