Summer Nether Edge Farmers' Market - Sunday 22 June 2025

Hello everyone,The next Nether Edge market will be held on Sunday 22 June 2025, from 12 to 4pm. This summer community event will host approximately 50-60 stalls selling an excellent range of local produce, including hot and cold foods, drinks and crafts. Local Nether Edge shops and businesses will be open: Wickwire, Oxfam, Zeds Wholefoods, Kollective Kitchen, St Luke's Boutique, Bench (Bistro food and wine), Yamato Sushi, Nether Edge Bowling Club, The Byron pub and Cafe#9. Market Entertainment Programme (specific times and performances may change): 1) 12:00 - Salvation Army Band 2) 12:40 - Nether Edge Primary School Choir 3) 13:10 - Kindling Choir 4) 13:45 - Feet First (Appalachian Dancers) 5) 14:30 - Sons of Rodger band Stall fee proceeds from this market will be donated to the following beneficiaries: 1) RIVA Project: RIVA is committed to providing better life chances for people with disabilities in and around Sheffield. 'We offer work-based training, life skills training, and recreational activities for people with disabilities (including people with learning disabilities, physical and/or sensory impairments, and mental health issues) or anyone who would benefit from independent living skills and confidence to gain employment. The project includes a café, charity shop and garden all of which are open to the public'. 2) Sheffield Churches Council for Community Care (SCCCC) are a charity working closely with statutory agencies in Sheffield to provide a network of support for older people, their carers and families. Most of their work helps older people in their own homes. SCCCC also supports people who are admitted to or discharged from hospital or are living in a residential home. Please note that Nether Edge Road (between Sheldon Road and Byron Road) and Glen Road (between Nether Edge Road and Ashland Road) will be closed to traffic between 9:00 and 17:00 on Sunday 22 June 2025.
