We are going for it and having a Christmas meal this year!The same arrangement as in previous years (except for last year). As is our custom, we will celebrate Hispanic cultures and languages with a Greek Meze at Yamas! To keep things simple for the organiser (me) there are two choices: Meat and fish meze or Vegetarian meze The total cost is £23.50 per person (the menu link says £19.50 before 5pm but that is only on weekdays. On a Sunday it is £23.50 which is a bargain for the food we get). You need to secure your place with a £5 deposit per person. I will contact people who don t come on a Wednesday evening about how to pay the deposit. If you cannot come to the meal because you test positive for COVID just before, I can t guarantee the deposit is returnable, but I ll try my best. On the day each person needs to pay the balance of £18.50 for the set meal. Please, during the meal, could you pay for drinks and/or pudding (you won t fit it in!) as you order them so we are not faced with a painful disputed bill at the end? For now I have booked 12 places, but I m sure we can increase numbers if more than 12 people want to come (and pay me the £5 deposit). Therefore do put yourself on the waiting list so I know when more than 12 people want to come and I can increase numbers on our booking.
