Nine Mile Linear Walk from East Midlands Parkway to Nottingham

If anyone feels like a gentle nine-mile linear stroll from East Midlands Parkway through the Trent Valley, the villages of Thrumpton and Barton through Clifton Grove, Wilford Village, and The Meadows back to Nottingham Station then join me at Nottingham Station at 0900 am onwards for the 0926 departure from Nottingham.

We will catch the 0926 train from Nottingham to East Midlands Parkway with toilets available at both stations.

Rail fare costs will be cheaper if you give me £3.50 at the railway station and I can buy group tickets otherwise it will cost you £5.

Lunch break will be around 12.30 to 1 pm if the weather is nice so feel free to bring a packed lunch.

The walk should finish before 4pm but depending on walking speed of the group the latest the walk could finish is 5 pm.

Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome on the walk.

Toilets may be limited to non-existent please bring along enough food and drink to get you through the walk and safely home.
