Composing and performing music together, Dele Sosimi and Medlar have developed an incredible mix of afrobeats and house, united alongside funk, jazz, disco and UK garage. Their prodigious albums on WahWah45’s and performances at Glade during Glastonbury festival, We Out Here and also at the Oval Space continue to push forward the thrilling fusion between music, culture and eras that the UK scene has to offer.
Fela Kuti’s former bandmate and one of UK’s most prolific underground producers team up for their XOYO debut! On April 18, Medlar will release his new album “Islands” on Delusions Of Grandeur, and the duo will perform some of their fresh material.

Sol Asylum’s Julie Marghilano has successfully delivered quality productions, authentic label releases and a peculiar artistic choice across her events. More than a decade ago on Club Der Visionaere’s dancefloors, the first Sol Asylum event did more than just convince us of Julie’s musical understanding and passion, it showed us her talent at selecting sounds that capture the essence of the underground. Across Hoppetosse, Renate and ://About Blank in Berlin and also in London at Grooves in 2015, Julie consistently unveiled technicality, artistic creativity and a true passion for bass music.
