Serena Cunsolo has been researching plastic pollution in the AQUATIC ECOSYSTEMS SINCE 2015, when she joined The Ocean Cleanup Foundation [https://theoceancleanup.com/]. Her research focuses on wastewater treatment plants, one of the major sources of microplastic pollution.
