Innovolvement Operation: Food Waste

Where does your food waste go?

Innovolvement’s second event, Operation: Food Waste, will be February 9th at 5pm.  

There will be an introductory talk from Innovolvement co-lead Charlie Iceton, who will give a brief overview of what Innovolvement is and its past success, followed by guest speakers, Harriet Parr, a Masters Graduate in Communication who worked with monitoring food waste within indigenous communities in New Zealand and Gemma Morris, Community Champion at Fratton Park Tesco Extra, who works relentlessly with the local community on many food waste reduction projects. In between speakers there will be roundtable discussions in the aim to find a practical solution to reducing food waste in Portsmouth.

This event will be held in the Eldon Cafe area. There will be snacks and refreshments provided.
